I haven't used this mod before, but I've seen mod reviews and it's used by AlChestBreach so I figured I'd give it a go.I installed the Groovatron from the Fallout 3 Nexus. Then installed the GroovatronNV version.

The mod author (Antistar) is the reason why weapon mods are in New Vegas at all! He made a mod adding weapon mod kits to Fallout 3, and Obsidian liked the idea so much they implemented them as a.

I disabled the Groovatron.esp and enabled GroovatronNV.esp, but it's not being added to my inventory no matter how long I wait.I even tried disabling the mod, loading a save, creating a clean save, and enabling again, but nothing.Oh, and I added the other poses that came recommended in the ReadMes in hopes it might help, but still nothing.Am I missing something, or am I using the wrong esp? Did you add all the coordinating mesh and texture files from both versions and did you delete the fo3 esp or just uncheck it. I unchecked it in my load order and the mod works perfect. FYI the groovatron is found at the very bottom of your weapons list and the other items are at the very bottom of your misc menu. Try checking your other mods to see if one of them is conflicting with it and you can also try moving the NV version esp around in your load order. It might be a spot where another mod is overriding its effects.

Try playing with your load order for a bit and see if you can get it to work. Mine is part way up. I found sometimes if i adjust a particular mods order, i can eventually find a spot that works. Also as i said before, if you haven't already done so.

Make a fresh save then uncheck all your mod accept of the groovatron and if it works, you'll know its a mod conflct and you can start then adding a few at a time until it doesn't work again and that should allow you to isolate the conflict. It does work.

Also toggle your AI. I noticed you're using the mod configuration menu and that centered 3rd person camera. I suggest you take a look at the dynamic camera mod. It's really nice.

You can adjust the position of your charater any way you want with each weapon type so they can all have a unique look. It works with the mcm mods and integrates into it. The load order for it would be right under mcm. I did notice something wrong with you order. The ttw esm belongs at the top right under Zeta.

It was a lot of linking so one may have been mislinked n what not. Replace Unlimited Companions with JIP CC&C, Unlimited Companions (you didn't even specify the updated version) edits a vanilla script, and it specifically edits a non-final version of the script. The script got updated at least once before the final game version was released. Even the updated version overwrites a fix in YUP.Speaking of which, I can't comprehend someone saying that they don't recommend unofficial patches, while recommending any mods at all. Like, seriously, do you know the sorts of things that don't work in the base game?

You might as well say not to use JIP because it fixes weapons that ignore DT/DR simply not ignoring anything (as the game engine ignores it). Unless you're using a complete overhaul mod, there is zero reason to not use YUP. It's outright bad advice, and recommending against it overshadows anything else the guide contains, honestly. Also the Configurator isn't recommended anymore, what people should be doing is making a FalloutCustom.ini, which JIP allows for now.Looking at KOBU, the least of the problems it has is that it doesn't work with the DLC (OWB's added traits specifically). It also seems to be relatively buggy, and touches a bit too much stuff when considering that it was made with a non-final version of the game. It's not as fast, but I'd recommend Character Creation Streamlined instead.

You could look at JIP CC&C as a replacement for Unlimited Companions, and include a 'minimalist' set of MCM settings (keeping it minimalist by only listing what would be changed, probably) to keep it unobtrusive and to essentially get just the unlimited companions part. Like setting the HUD stuff to hide until you toggle it, and such.Faster Start Menu can be achieved by setting an INI setting, 'SMainMenuMovieIntro=0', which is easily added into FalloutCustom.ini.For FCO despite what the other guy said, you don't need NVR3, there's, and one probably still needs, which is mentioned on the page for the Last Few Edits, but in really tiny red text. For replacing the minigames, seems to be the big one that doesn't make everything cheat-level, and also is more fluid because it skips the interface entirely.

For an actual 'cheat' one there's, which also makes it so you don't even have to open the interface.A good rule of thumb is to read all the comments (not all of them, but at least a page or two) and all of the bug reports. Older mods don't usually have bug report pages, so you'll need to look at the Forum tab. Another note about the physical guide itself is that you probably shouldn't remove copying, especially if you're not going to include links. I'd of course say to include links. If you don't, then people are generally going to copy and paste the name of the mod into google/nexus, and of course they currently can't do that. Yeah I put on CC&C but didn't use any of it. This is just playstyle/preference based.

Alchestbreach fallout new vegas mod list 2017

I adventure alone aside from when I take companions for quest/lore vibes. So I don't put a lot of stock in their functionality.I checked KOBU's start because I often start games with SKILLED trait, and it has all the OWB traits.Speaking of INI tweaks. Do you know of a INI setting or a simple mod that replaces the main menu with a black screen or removes the image or anything? Don't ask why, my screens are plain black on everything lol.

KOBU's edits some scripts, I'd take a look at it in xEdit, compare to other options. If you don't know how to look at things in xEdit, I wouldn't really try to make a modding guide. For a black background, download, make a new image, 1024 by 512 pixels (though I guess it could be something like 256x128 since it's a solid color, don't know if the game cares too much about the ratio), paint bucket it black, save as DirectDraw Surface (DDS) and name it 'mainbackground', then in the save configuration menu thing pick DXT1 from the drop-down, hit OK, then put it in datatexturesinterfacemain, and you're good to go. Definitely add the, otherwise everyone who runs up to date Win10 system will have a hard time.A heavily modded game is nigh unplayable without the.Don't say you don't recommend any unofficial patch. The OBJECTIVELY make the game better by eliminating some arbitrary shit that may or may not pop up and make you cry hard.Instead of MTUI. Newer, closer to vanilla, still maintained and has better compatibility., and are all useful fixes that are sorely missing from the list.FCO in itself does precious little, as it is unfinished. You need + to fully finish it up and realize the potential. Or for a no requirements, closer to vanilla experience.

4gb patcher is mentioned in the list.Only reason I omitted every thing you mention is they are manually downloaded files. Even though that makes them similar to NVSE and 4G, but the difference is those two things are truly needed to run mods.I wanted to make this list both lightweight and simple.

Some lists have a bunch of extra crap and some lists are for more experienced modders using MO2 and installing all their mods manually and doing their own ini tweaks.I wanted to avoid both of those scenarios which, admittedly, creates a very basic and uninteresting list but that was the goal from the start.Weapon Mesh is good though. I only omitted it because I recommended WRP and I'm not sure how many conflicts they have. If it's a complete overwrite or if they work okay in tandem. Maybe if this one gains traction.

But for a more advanced mod list I think Rika's is one of the best out there. Not just a good mod list but actually discusses the mods and tells you what you CAN use and what you SHOULD use and the difference between them. But yeah, after going through that guide I feel like beginners would just get overwhelmed not only by the amount of info but the idea that you have options and need to choose and such. I wanted mine to be a literal PLUG n PLAY. DL FNV, DL Vortex, DL NVSE & 4GBpatch, then DL all the mods and start it up.I might change the list a bit more, removing mods, to make it even more simple and lightweight.
