Hi,I'm a white belt and I'm thinking of signing up for one of the following pay sites: CaioTerra Online, AOJ Online, or Atos Online. Many of the posts here seem to be critical of CaioTerra Online and AOJ Online, whereas Atos Online seems to be a bit newer and has less reviews. I'm looking for good, organized content at the fundamental level for gi/no-gi. In fact, if there was a curriculum of necessary stuff to know at the white belt level that built stuff up in an order that made sense, that'd be great. I'm a smaller guy (5'8', 150 lbs.) and mainly roll with guys at 205 lbs and up, so any content for making up the size gap would be helpful. 100% Grapplers Guide then. Cant recommend it enough, I feel its helped me excel way past where I would be with just classes alone. I like to learn things on my own time from the GG and then go into class with 1 particular thing in mind like 'tonight im going to focus on the sticky hands concept' etcThere is a whole section of comprehensive curriculums that are separated into different positions, and a huge one specifically for Fundamentals which is right up your alley.

Starts with the basics of the basics and builds - tons of conceptual stuff you will never get at the gym in years of going, because class just isnt structured in such a way that you can listen to a coach talk about theory for hours straight in a structured format. (not that his videos are hours at all, but i usually binge them for hours straight and have been working on the fundamentals curriculum for months already and am still digging through). I’ve probably used more sites than most people on here, including: Keenan, Grappler’s Guide, AOJ, ATOS, MG, Roger Gracie, and BJJ Concepts (maybe more but I forget). I have kept AOJ, BJJ Concepts, and ATOS (though I will likely cancel ATOS soon). My favorite is AOJ, because I am used to it, they play my game, and the videos are pretty short and to the point. BJJ Concepts is fantastic because they explain things in a very systematic, easy to understand way. That being said, Grappler’s Guide is absolutely the most bang for your buck.

It’s perpetual (you don’t have to pay forever) and has the most diverse base of knowledge on here. If you’re a beginner that is absolutely where I’d start, and then move on to the other sites. I don’t think you can go wrong, per se, with the other sites, but GG is the best value and I wish I’d joined when I started. Grappler’s guide is the only one you really need if you have to just pick one. It’s helped my game a lot, like more than i expected. There’s so much useful material, the word “guide” is a very good descriptive word.I also like AOJ’s website because I feel like you can learn a lot watching the mendes brothers spar. Just watching them you’ll pick up things. Also, bjjconcepts is another good one.

Rob does a great job explaining stuff. He’s one of the few people that helps things “click” for me.You really can’t go wrong with either those of 3.
